Conference FAQs

  • We're not able to provide childcare at the MAHM in-person conference this year due to funding and volunteer restrictions.

    MAHM is run entirely by volunteers! The MAHM committee is made up of around 10 mums, all trying to squeeze volunteering around busy family life. We rely on membership fees to help us deliver our aims and run events such as conference.

    Our membership has sadly been declining in recent years and so we have to be very careful about how we spend our money. The venue for our conference is at Mandeville Place in London, which we have used for many years as we get it for a discounted rate.

    A drawback to the venue is that we only have one main room and the canteen for the lunch break. There is a very small room off the conference room but this would not be big enough to accommodate a creche. We'd also need volunteers (who are DBS checked) to run and facilitate this creche.

    We hope that by having the online conference available we are able to be inclusive of all parents who would like to attend.

  • The recording of this year’s conference will be available to all ticket holders within a week or two of the November date. (Volunteers work hard to get it out as quickly as possible.)

  • Please do not be put off if you would like to attend the conference but the ticket price makes things tricky. We value your presence.
